With Thanksgiving celebrations to be enjoyed tomorrow, the Chattanooga Junior Golfers' Development Program has much for which to be thankful.
In case you don't know, living with thanksgiving is one of our Guiding Principles.
I am very thankful that we will be holding programs at The Player Development Complex again! Recently, UTC accepted our request to hold classes there this December and in 2018. This is very exciting.
Will will have a Winter Series there beginning in December. Information is on the Home page of this website.
We will also be having Spring Session offerings on Tuesdays and Saturdays in March, April and May. More information will be posted for the Spring the first of the year.
We will be holding Parent/Child Information meetings beginning in January.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.......remember to live with thankfulness throughout the year.
After completing the Parent Informational meetings and just about completing Early Enrollment, we have added on-line applications to the Home Page. Be sure to complete the correct form.... choose the class and fill out that form. Looking forward to a full and fun summer session.
We are enrolling for summer now. If you are already in the Spring Session, you may enroll without coming to a meeting. Of course, it might be helpful to hear the options during a meeting. You may go to the member side of the site by clicking on the figure in the upper right hand corner of the website to learn details of the summer. If it is not up when you click, it will be soon.
While it was not ideal weather for being outside, we had great fun and made progress on putting and chipping technique. Over the course of an hour or so, I could notice improved technique, better trajectory on chips and better influence on the speed of the ball on putting.
We learned that players were THANKFUL for being about to come to Lupton City in order to continue developing as golfers this spring. We also learned that they are thankful for their families, for food and having homes.
Pleased to announce that after the first round of meetings, parents and participants were pleased with the program. A few have scheduling conflicts but will be involved in the summer. Half of the spots available have already been filled. Off to a great start.
